NIPHLE Call for Speakers

The 2026 NIPHLE speakers committee seeks experts in Packaging, Handling, and Logistics Engineering to share experience, new tech, and methods with professionals, government engineers, and logisticians.

 

2026 NIPHLE TRAINING EVENT

The 3-day event provides packaging professionals a platform to share logistics practices, packaging solutions, and tech innovations that support warfighters.

May 5th-7th, 2026

 

TOPICS OF INTEREST

  • What was your packaging/transportation challenge? How was it resolved?

  • Our government and industry survey highlights interest in, but is not limited to, the following topics:

  • Big Picture - how packaging and logistics impact warfighters at the troop level, including supply chain manufacturing challenges.

  • Moving Towards More Efficient Processes – practices like reuse, refurbishment, and automation.

  • Methods of Preservation - physical coatings, waterproof/water vapor protection, desiccants.

  • Packaging Hazmat - challenges and standard requirements.

  • Logistic Supply Chain Tracking - monitoring and reporting supplies for return or redistribution.

  • Drone Delivery (UAV) - packaging requirements and discussion of PHST support for unmanned systems.

  • Problem-Solving Solutions - prime contractor solutions developed to address packaging issues.

  • Evolving Technologies - innovations that improve logistics communication and packaging performance.

  • Direct Feedback from the Field
